GUIDED BIOFILM THERAPY (GBT) METHOD IN THE CURRENT TREATMENT PROTOCOL OF PERIODONTAL AND PERI-IMPLANT DISEASES.
The main cause of periodontal and peri-implant diseases is the biofilm layer formed on natural teeth and dental implant surfaces, which contains dense pathogenic microorganisms. With the understanding of biofilm-related destruction mechanisms of supporting periodontal and peri-implant tissues, it has been reported that the primary approach in the treatment of periodontal and peri-implant diseases should be biofilm eradication. Today, different new techniques and methods have begun to be introduced in the literature to mechanically eradicate biofilm layers and hard deposits on disease-affected tooth and implant surfaces in order to effectively control biofilm formation. A new sequential treatment protocol called Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) has been introduced and very successful clinical results have been documented and published. The basic philosophy of GBT is to provide more effective and non-invasive biofilm eradication together with the clinician and the patient, as well as to provide long-term motivation and optimal home care of the patients. One of the most important and basic steps of GBT is the use of biofilm disclosing sponges, and it is very useful for both the patient and the clinician to show the areas where biofilm accumulates. Other important steps of GBT are systematic professional prophylaxis procedures using air abrasives and ultrasonic technologies in biofilm management. GBT also enables the creation of an individual treatment protocol with different diagnoses and risk assessments for each patient in order to achieve optimal clinical results. In this presentation, methodological algorithm changes in biofilm management will be examined and discussed in order to obtain effective results in the non-surgical treatment of periodontitis and periimplantitis.

THE NEW ERA OF SUB-PERIOSTAL IMPLANTS: DIGITAL DESIGN
Subperiosteal dental implants are a tooth restoration option used to replace missing teeth for patients who have an insufficient bone density in the jaw. Instead of being placed directly in the jawbone, subperiosteal implants are placed under the gum line on top of the bone. In the realm of modern dentistry, subperiosteal implantation has emerged as a revolutionary technique that offers individuals a second chance at restoring their smile and regaining their oral health. This lecture delves into the intricacies of subperiosteal implantation, explaining its benefits, procedure, and why it stands out as an unparalleled solution to dental issues.
CURRENT APPROACHES IN TODAY'S IMPLANT SURGERIES APPLIED FOR BONE DEFICIENCIES
In today's dentistry, dental implants are widely used. One of the basic requirements for successful treatment using dental implants is to have enough bone to hold the implant in place. This requirement prevents dental implant treatment for many patients with bone loss, and additional surgical interventions are required before implant treatment. As a result of the developments in the field of dentistry, advanced dental implant solutions are offered to patients with different needs, including those designed for patients experiencing resorption in the jaw bone. In patients with insufficient bone volume, autogenous or synthetic bone graft applications or advanced surgical techniques may be required before placing a dental implant. Within the scope of these procedures, the areas where dental implants will be placed must be supported by using the patient's own bone tissue or synthetic bone grafts from another part of the mouth. In the light of this information, becoming familiar with today's current bone augmentation procedures and completing the treatment of patients in a short time with simple methods will both increase patient satisfaction and increase our awareness in our sector.

KEYS TO SUCCESSFUL IMMEDIATE LOADING
In the last years, due to the recent developments in dental implantology, the expectations of both the dentists and the patients are rising. Now, the consolidation period, in which the osseointegration takes place, started to give its place to new immediate loading alternatives. The quick realization of intraoral function and aesthetics can only be achieved with proper immediate loading protocols. Factors like correct preparation of the implant bed, selection of the ideal implant macromorphology and use of appropriate implant upper parts are crucial for achieving sufficient biomechanical anchorage and for optimizing the soft tissue contour. The aim of this lecture is to discuss the rules and protocols for eliminating the short-term complications following immediate loading. THE AILING IMPLANT – A GLOBAL CONCERN?
With a growing awareness of peri-implant disease by the dental profession, we take a sobering look at peri-implantitis. The prevalence, etiopathogenesis, risk factors and available treatment options for ailing implants emphasize the importance of careful patient-selection and prevention.
The journey begins with understanding the clinical parameters which define peri-implant health, peri-implant mucositis and peri-implantitis, as well as an honest appraisal of the difference between implant survival-rates and success-rates. Furthermore, we will address the importance of probing when examining implants.
Treatment protocols revolve around disease prevention, reversing the condition of peri-implant mucositis, and treating contaminated implant surfaces by means of debridement and decontamination. This should always be followed by a strict supportive implant therapy program, for life.
Whilst peri-implantitis essentially remains irreversible, we conclude by examining the potential benefits of new technological treatment methods.

A NEW ERA IN ENDODONTICS: RISING
Endodontic treatment is based on the three-dimensional shaping, cleaning, and hermetic filling of the root canal. Nowadays, four tapered rotary systems have gained popularity within the scope of anatomical and minimally invasive shaping. Despite clinicians using these systems, they encounter some clinical problems such as creating apical stops, inadequate shaping, and apical debris extrusion. The Fanta AF Rising rotary file system is designed to minimize these problems. It features a rotary file design that has never been used before, the use of NiTi treated with different heat treatments at each file, and a specially developed metallurgy with high compressive strength. This presentation will focus on the critical aspects of the metallurgy and design of the Fanta AF Rising rotary file system, which allows for safe and predictable endodontic treatment with clinical cases.

SCREW RETAINED CROWNS AND BRIDGES: A JOURNEY FROM SURGICAL PLANNING TO DESIGN
Nowadays, a significant portion of missing teeth are treated with implants. The long-term success of implant treatments depends not only on the meticulous execution of surgical stages but also on the preparation of peri-implant tissues for the prosthesis and ensuring that the teeth are positioned and function as naturally as possible. In the treatment of partial tooth loss aimed at single crowns and bridges, the goal should be to provide the patient's rehabilitation with zirconia crowns placed on titanium bases that will preserve the health of the gingival tissues post-surgery and provide support to these tissues, including preoperative planning that includes prosthetic anticipation of implants. For zirconia crowns with titanium base screw retention to be placed w on the implant ithout complications , the implant must be placed in an ideal position. In response to this need, surgical guides are seen as a rising trend in implantology. In this presentation, attention will be paid to the points to be considered in pre-implant placement planning, including the creation of an emergence profile on the implant to anticipate the structure of the prosthesis below the gingival tissues, the healthy acquisition and transfer of digital scans, designing a prosthesis around the implant that is impermeable to infection and supports the surrounding tissues adequately, and sharing how to design screw-retained crowns and preoperative implant and prosthesis design with surgical guides to approach treatment ideally.
